LottaLottos.com - Registration Process

CAPTCHA has been enabled for forum registration and additional elements have been added to the process in recent days - members now register on the site as before but in addition to the CAPTCHA response at registration - the process will now require manual activation of your account.

Typically you can expect this will occur within 24 hours of your signup request and should complete or result from one of the following events:

ACTIVATION METHOD or OPTION 1:
LottaLottos members that were registered on the old or prior forum software - the phpBB 2x [Snitz] version of the forum - can/should expect that their accounts will be activated once your username is recognized during review of the inactive member log file.

ACTIVATION METHOD or OPTION 2:
New members or forum members that wish to change their username can expect to get an e-mail prompting them to activate their account, again this will be triggered during review of the inactive member log file and should occur within 24 hours.


Unfortunately these steps and the inherent delays in activation are now required due to "bots" that currently scan forums and register accounts. A current variant is also able to handle several of the CAPTCHA-enabled features.

Hence a secondary level review and processing of member requests is now required and this extends the registration and activation process for all members.

If you do not get the expected forum activation reply request via e-mail notice or your account is not activated on a timely basis by administrative action - please post a reply to this thread and include only your username or at least the first 6 "letters" of you username to faciliate our review.

DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR PASSWORD

Failure to activate your account will/would most likely be unintentional or an oversight - please call these to to our attention so that we can rectify the issue. Currently guests can post to many of the forums as long as they complete the CAPTCHA associated with their submission.

Hopefully we not be forced to alter or "disable" this feature.

However, this also may become necessary if there is continuing abuse and violations of the TOS/AUP for the LottaLottos.com forum by forum guests.
